Lifetime support
Long-term support requires special commitment in the avionics and aerospace marketplaces, particularly as component lifecycle times approach project development timescales. "Lifetime support" is a major part of our philosophy - we still support Celab product which is over 30 years old.
Obsolescence management
When even dual sourcing can result in unacceptable deliveries, costs or both, understanding how to source obsolescent components is as important as having the resources and expertise to design them out. However, being able to judge which route to take is critical.
Adoption of third party equipments
Perhaps the strongest endorsement of the success of our support philosophy is that we are increasingly being asked to undertake the long-term support of products originally designed by our customers, or even other sub-contractors. This process is enabling our customers to focus more effectively on their system-level core competences, whilst ensuring ongoing support for legacy equipment.
