Customer Support Order Entry Clerk


Summary:
Provide the Customer Service Team with data entry support processing orders received via a number of channels including EDI transactions.


Responsibilities :
  • Includes the following but is not all inclusive. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Answer incoming phone calls from 800# and assist customers with obtaining information.
  • Interface with Commercial Master Schedulers involved with multi -location factories.
  • Perform all daily data entry into the site's ERP system tool for customer sales orders.
  • Audit all the previous day's input to insure 100% compliance with the customer purchase order.
  • File all hard copy purchase orders as required by the site's document retention procedures.
  • Build internal & external relationships that require exchanging information and providing some explanation in a problem solving capacity.


    • Education/Experience:

    Additional Courses after High School, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    Educational requirements may vary by geography.
    One to three years relevant customer service experience including processing EDI orders.
